Responsibilities
Oversee the development of the annual budget and long-range plans for Store Payroll and Benefits and Upper Field to meet all FP&A requirements and align with brand strategies
Develop the strategy and provide the required analytical support to recommend improved ways of managing store expense in a growing and evolving business environment
Identify key drivers of store expense variability and proactively investigate and develop recommendations to mitigate risk or capture opportunities, with drive toward the highest level of accuracy in forecasting and analysis
Engage with central store operations and cross-functional business partner leads to develop labor plans, model initiative expense profiles, and support in quantifying opportunities related to pilot and optimized productivity initiatives
Synthesize financial findings, develop a storyline and the supporting materials to communicate recommendations to Senior Management and Leadership Team
Responsible for helping design, manage, and calculate monthly bonus program for Banana Republic stores
Support career growth for direct report
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of retail Finance and/or Operations experience required
Ability to manage multiple projects and work with a large amount of detail without losing sight of the big picture
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, track record of improving business results and processes through new ideas
Self-motivated: empowered to make quick, calculated decisions, follow through with responsibilities and be fully accountable for results
Capability to assess relatively complex situations and analyze data to make judgments and drive for solutions
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations and navigate through complexity
Proven track record of building relationships and influencing stakeholders across a variety of cross functional teams
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with Essbase, Power Bi, and Anaplan a plus
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to interact with all levels of management
