Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategies to expand air and ocean freight business within target industries and accounts
Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with both SMB and enterprise-level clients
Build strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their logistics challenges and offering customized freight solutions
Collaborate closely with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure seamless implementation of services
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge
Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and pricing strategies to prospective clients
Achieve and exceed revenue and margin targets through strategic sales initiatives
Maintain accurate pipeline and activity reporting in CRM tools
Qualification
Required
Proven track record in business development or sales within the freight forwarding or logistics sector
Strong knowledge of both air and ocean freight services, including import/export, customs compliance, and trade lanes
Existing network of decision-makers in industries such as retail, manufacturing, automotive, technology, or consumer goods is highly desirable
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
