Investment Banking Healthcare Vice President – San Francisco
Morgan Stanley is looking for a Vice President to join their Healthcare Investment Banking Group based in San Francisco. The role involves working with clients in various healthcare and life sciences sectors on complex transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, and public offerings.

Responsibilities
Work with regional and international clients on a wide range of complex transactions including acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, shareholder relations, recapitalizations, and defenses against unsolicited takeover attempts, strategic advisory assignments and executions of public, including Initial Public Offerings, and private capital markets transactions
Work closely with professionals throughout the firm to deliver high quality advice to clients
Play an important role on a team that includes senior professionals who will encourage you to go beyond the numbers and think creatively
Qualification
Required
6+ years of relevant experience within the investment banking industry, or 3+ years of post-MBA experience, with a proven track record working on complex executed deals across M&A and various industry sectors
Strong written and verbal communication, client and interpersonal skills
Commercial instinct and ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines
Bachelor's degree required; an MBA and/or CFA designation would be an asset
Series licensing or must obtain
Preferred
Experience in the healthcare services industry is strongly preferred, but not required
