They are seeking a Building Engineer to oversee and support the maintenance, repair, and operational efficiency of a property's mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities
System Management: Overseeing & supporting the safe and efficient operation of all building systems, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and structural components
Maintenance and Repair: Supporting & coordinating maintenance and repair activities, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally
Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards
Vendor Management: Overseeing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the quality of services provided
Emergency Response: Developing and implementing emergency response plans for maintenance issues and system failures
Capital Project Management: Assisting with the planning and execution of capital improvement projects related to building systems
Maintaining clear and effective communication with property management, other departments, and residents/tenants
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex system issues and develop effective solutions
Ability to work in spontaneous or high pressure environments (ex: unexpected flooding, etc.)
Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
Ability to provide excellent service to residents, tenants, and other stakeholders
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
