Responsibilities

Define, refine, and prioritize the backlog for the delivery team
Develop clear and actionable user stories for the delivery team to implement
Communicate team capacity and workload to stakeholders
Collaborate with the Product Manager in developing and planning product strategy
Manage features and user stories from initiation through to acceptance
Sign-off on completed features and communicate any trade-offs made during the development cycle to leadership and stakeholders
Continuously refine the product backlog to ensure tasks are well-defined
Identify and communicate risks and dependencies to keep projects on track
Participate in and prepare for product planning sessions, including Daily Stand-Up, Refinement, Sprint Planning, and Quarterly Planning
Create release communications and conduct product demonstrations
Provide guidance and direction to the delivery team
Keep stakeholders informed with regular status updates
Identify opportunities for product enhancements and team efficiency improvements
Complete intake on new features, identifying the value they add to the product
Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with business objectives and user needs
Work with partners and stakeholders to define high-level user stories and designs for handover to the delivery team once aligned to a sprint
Align with consumer insights to conduct market research to identify user needs and industry trends that inform product development
Understand current product performance by analyzing reports, customer feedback, and other insights to inform leadership on performance to plan
Prepare for and participate in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-up, quarterly planning, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Ensure the Product Owner and delivery team are developing and implementing solutions that meet business and user needs
Facilitate the resolution of conflicts and impediments faced by the delivery team
Communicate product vision and updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency

Required

Minimum years of experience required: >10yrs
Market research capabilities to identify opportunities and trends
Have 4 years of experience as a digital product manager
Have 4 years of experience using Jira, Figma, and/or other agile delivery tools
Have 2 years of experience as a product owner within a delivery team
Have 2 years of experience using Jira, Figma, and other agile delivery tools
Articulate the product vision, requirements, and progress effectively
Translate stakeholder requirements into actionable technical directions
Identify and engage with key stakeholders in projects
Communicate and present effectively to all levels within the organization
Recognize and address potential risks and dependencies
Utilize data analytics and metrics for informed decision-making
Understand UX principles to enhance product design
Exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities
Comprehend the technical implications of design and development choices
Build strong relationships and facilitate collaboration across teams
Ability to articulate product vision and requirements clearly
Strong analytical skills to assess performance metrics and user feedback
Proficiency in agile methodologies and experience with product management tools
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for engaging with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
