Procurement Manager

They are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead all purchasing and procurement functions for hospitality renovation projects, focusing on developing procurement strategies and managing supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project schedules, budgets, and company objectives
Establish standardized procurement policies, procedures, and best practices across projects
Lead procurement planning for multiple hospitality renovation projects simultaneously
Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors
Negotiate pricing, contracts, lead times, and terms to achieve cost savings and schedule reliability
Maintain and manage an approved vendor list and evaluate supplier performance
Oversee purchasing of construction materials, finishes, FF&E, and equipment
Coordinate delivery schedules to active job sites in alignment with construction sequencing
Proactively resolve material shortages, delays, substitutions, and backorders
Track procurement costs against approved project budgets
Support Project Managers with pricing, value engineering options, and material alternatives
Review and approve purchase orders and major procurement commitments
Utilize Procore to manage purchase orders, submittals, procurement logs, documentation, and communication
Ensure procurement data in Procore is accurate, complete, and up to date
Maintain organized procurement records, contracts, warranties, and closeout documentation
Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Accounting, and Executive Leadership
Align procurement schedules with project timelines and field needs
Support project closeout by ensuring vendor closeouts and warranty documentation are completed

Required

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of three (3) years of procurement or purchasing experience in construction, hospitality, or commercial renovation
Demonstrated proficiency in Procore
Strong knowledge of construction materials, FF&E, procurement workflows, and lead times
Proven contract negotiation and vendor management experience
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Preferred

Experience in hospitality or hotel renovation projects
Experience managing procurement across multiple projects or properties
Familiarity with the Central Florida construction and supplier market
