Finance and Operations Administrator
Community Justice Center is dedicated to advancing community safety and restorative justice programming. The Finance and Operations Administrator ensures the smooth running of back office operations, including financial administration and office communication, while supporting the organization's mission through organized and efficient processes.
Responsibilities
Financial Administration & Invoicing
Bookkeeping: Data entry for accounts payable and receivable, and track all receipts
Invoicing: Prepare professional invoices for contracted programs
Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports
Personnel Files: Maintain all relevant forms
Office Operations & Communication
Program Logistics: Coordinate the organizational calendar by working with program partners and staff
External Liaison: Be the first point of contact for the organization—answer phones, manage email inquiries, and greet visitors
Data Management: Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems, including program participation metrics
Inventory Management: Maintain and order office and program supplies
Qualification
Required
Highly organized and detail-focused professional
Ability to balance independent work with interpersonal tasks
Bookkeeping: Data entry for accounts payable and receivable, and track all receipts
Invoicing: Prepare professional invoices for contracted programs
Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports
Personnel Files: Maintain all relevant forms
Program Logistics: Coordinate the organizational calendar by working with program partners and staff

Preferred
2+ years of experience in an administrative, office management, or bookkeeping role
Experience in the nonprofit sector is a plus, but not required
Proficiency in spreadsheets and other office software
Demonstrate an ability to easily learn digital tools
Proven ability to manage financial data accurately
Strong verbal and written communication skills
