Responsibilities
Interface with guests and service technicians to identify and sell vehicle repairs and maintenance
Determine need for repairs and maintenance by vehicle inspection, questioning guest, and by researching service history and computer information
Verify that work is properly diagnosed and performed
Input and maintain vehicle and customer information in computer system
Communicate with guests in a professional and timely manner with updates of vehicle repair status and costs
Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently in an efficient and organized manner
Work calmly and efficiently under pressure, and with persons who can be frustrated
Use telephone, Email and other means to communicate with customers and vendors
Schedule appointments
Maintain professional appearance of work area
Other tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Thorough knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
Valid driver's license and ability to maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
Ability to work productively in a team environment
Ability to pass a background check
Preferred
At least two years of Service writing experience preferred
