Responsibilities
Architect secure, compliant Azure GCC High environments for CUI application hosting
Define cloud networking, identity, encryption, monitoring, logging, and access control standards
Validate configurations against DoD‑approved controls and federal compliance requirements
Lead cloud migration planning and execution activities
Partner with security and infrastructure teams to implement zero‑trust and least‑privilege models
Produce architecture diagrams, configuration documentation, and evidence for compliance audits
Support preparation for upcoming third‑party CMMC assessment
Qualification
Required
Azure Cloud Architecture (GCC High / GovCloud)
Designing compliant cloud environments for CUI workloads
FedRAMP, NIST 800‑171, CMMC, DoD cloud security frameworks
Zero‑trust design principles
Architecture documentation (diagrams, control mappings)
Complex cloud migrations
Preferred
AZ‑305: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Experience supporting CMMC audits or working with C3PAOs
Prior work in defense‑, aerospace‑, or government‑regulated industries
