Onsite Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer - Data Centers

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Part Time Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer to work onsite in Amarillo, TX at a hyperscale data center site. Responsibilities

Prepare error-free engineering documents adhering to industry codes, standards, and client requirements
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry codes, safety standards, and nuclear design techniques
Produce high-quality engineering deliverables aligned with client expectations and project scopes
Conduct peer and technical reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance
Build strong client relationships through professional communication and quality deliverables
Collaborate across disciplines to ensure design compatibility and meet all project requirements
Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery
Serve as Responsible Engineer (RE) or Lead Responsible Engineer (LRE) to lead project success
Review of relevant reports for third party testing and inspection agency
Periodic review of mechanical and plumbing systems

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
Minimum of 6 years of critical facilities, or power design experience
Critical Facilities HVAC and plumbing system experience
Proficient with Microsoft Suite
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
Ability to be a lead responsible engineer for a project involving multi-discipline work
Must be able to climb ladders and/or stairs at client sites

Preferred

Data Center or mission critical construction and inspection experience
Professional Engineer
