InternGourmet Foods International, a specialty food distributor, is looking for a college student to work as an Intern while earning class credit in the Summer of 2026. Interns will gain knowledge and experience across the entire Supply Chain, performing various tasks to understand the workings of a food service distribution company.

Responsibilities
Create reports aiding in the management of inventory levels concerning Out-of-Stock items, Out-of-Date items, and inventory leveling across all divisions
Assist Receiving, Shipping, and Transportation in their roles to gain a better understanding of our entire process
Work with warehouse management to identify items with label malfunctions, and work to solve these issues
Alert sales and buying teams to overstock and short-dated items
Assist sales and marketing teams on product movement trends, including seasonality
Work as a team with fellow interns to complete a project designed by the Upper Management of GFI. The project could consist of any or all of the above areas of focus
Qualification
Required
Proficient in Microsoft Office, mainly Excel and Access
Currently working to obtain a BS in Supply Chain Management, Business Admin, marketing or related field preferred
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Ability to work independently
Ability to communicate effectively with fellow interns, co-workers and business managers
