IBSS is a woman-owned small business providing consulting services to various sectors. They are seeking a General Clerk II to support NOAA's Southeast Regional Office by providing administrative, data management, mail operations, and meeting facilitation services essential to daily mission operations.

Responsibilities
Perform data entry, verification, and maintenance of databases and records
Prepare and format documents, reports, handouts, and presentation materials for meetings and scientific activities
Edit and proof documents for grammar, accuracy, formatting, and completeness prior to clearance and signature
Enter, review, verify, and correct data in spreadsheets, reports, and data sheets
Scan, copy, and file survey forms and other records in electronic and hard-copy formats
Communicate with permit holders and other constituents to clarify survey or data information
Support the preparation of scientific and administrative reports containing tables, charts, graphs, and multiple formats
Assist with incoming phone calls and route inquiries appropriately
Work independently or collaboratively to complete assignments and resolve issues
Check the mailroom daily for outgoing mail requiring postage
Meter outgoing mail and prepare mail for shipment
Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages to SERO offices within one business day of receipt
Review mail for accuracy and return misdirected items to senders
Receive and sign for packages from US Government Client, UPS, FedEx, and other carriers
Assist with troubleshooting and coordinating repairs for the mail postage meter
Provide planning, coordination, and facilitation support for SERO Administrative Meetings
Organize logistics, schedules, and materials to ensure meetings run efficiently
Prepare meeting documents, handouts, and supporting materials
Record and distribute meeting minutes and follow-up documentation
Support SERO Divisions in achieving administrative and operational goals through effective meeting coordination
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma
Minimum of one (1) year of relevant administrative or clerical experience
Ability to use standard office software (Word, Excel, email, databases)
Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
Preferred
Experience supporting federal government offices
Experience working with databases, document management, and records
Experience supporting meetings and preparing minutes
