Responsibilities
Design, develop, and enhance secure software applications and systems
Integrate new software solutions into evolving operational environments
Analyze user requirements to craft efficient, scalable, and reliable technical solutions
Debug and optimize existing software to ensure peak performance and reliability
Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation and technical reports
Participate in Agile Scrum teams to deliver rapid, high-quality software releases
Qualification
Required
Must possess an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP)
A minimum of 7 years of software engineering experience supporting programs of similar scope
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
An additional 4 years of professional software engineering experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Local candidates in or near Columbia, MD are required for this on-site position
Demonstrated familiarity with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
Proficiency in Java for building robust, scalable backend systems
Strong experience with modern programming languages and development environments
Working knowledge of Linux environments and version control using Git
Proficiency with Jira, Eclipse, and Confluence for project tracking and development
Ability to implement complex algorithms and maintain high code quality standards
Design, develop, and enhance secure software applications and systems
Integrate new software solutions into evolving operational environments
Analyze user requirements to craft efficient, scalable, and reliable technical solutions
