Responsibilities
Edit and produce high-quality long-form podcast episodes and short-form video content for platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn
Shape conversations into compelling narratives with strong pacing, visual rhythm, and clarity
Demonstrate strong musicality — selecting, timing, and cutting music to enhance mood, energy, and emotional impact without overpowering the story
Identify and extract meaningful moments from long-form content to create engaging, high-impact short-form clips
Deliver efficient first cuts and revisions, balancing creativity, quality, and turnaround speed
Ensure audio and visual quality consistently meets platform and client standards across multiple projects
Create social media visuals, thumbnails, and marketing assets aligned with brand guidelines
Support the creation of brochures, decks, and website visuals where required
Website creation or support (e.g. Webflow, Squarespace, or similar) is a plus
Support content publishing and scheduling across podcast and social media platforms
Prepare and organise content assets for distribution, including formatting, uploads, and versioning
Ensure content is delivered in the correct formats, ratios, and specifications for each platform
Maintain consistent quality and editorial standards across different clients and projects
Adapt to varying brand guidelines while ensuring output remains polished, intentional, and professional
Flag quality issues, inconsistencies, or risks early and proactively
Work closely with the founder and team to execute content priorities with accountability and momentum
Collaborate fluidly with other team members to balance workload and maintain production flow
Qualification
Required
2–4 years of experience in video editing, media production, or digital content creation, with a strong focus on video
High proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and related Adobe tools (After Effects is a plus but not required)
Strong sense of musicality, including the ability to select, time, and cut music to enhance pacing, mood, and emotional impact
Proven experience editing long-form conversations, interviews, or podcast-style content
Excellent instincts for pacing, rhythm, and visual storytelling — especially for short-form video
Ability to deliver efficient first cuts and turn around revisions without over-polishing or creative paralysis
Strong attention to detail and consistent quality across multiple projects
Comfortable working with Canva and other creative tools as needed to support production
Ability to manage multiple timelines and priorities in a fast-moving environment
A portfolio that demonstrates high-quality long-form and short-form video work, including examples where music plays an important role
Willingness to work a Wednesday–Sunday schedule
Preferred
Experience editing content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn, with an understanding of platform-specific formats and pacing
Exposure to branded content, podcasts, or client-facing projects with varying brand requirements
Experience working in a fast-paced, founder-led or agency-style environment
Basic familiarity with website creation or support (e.g. Webflow, Squarespace, or similar) is a plus
Emotionally intelligent, perceptive, and able to pick up on tone, nuance, and intention
Proactive, reliable, and comfortable taking ownership of work with minimal hand-holding
