Responsibilities
Deliver and support solutions across IT, ICS, and OT environments, including:
Virtualization, networking, storage, and cloud platforms
Cybersecurity tools and architectures
DCS, PLC, MES platforms, databases, and server infrastructure
Lead multi-discipline technical scopes from concept, proposal, and design through implementation and close-out
Act as technical lead for virtualization, networking, and service infrastructure initiatives
Serve as a customer-facing technical expert, translating complex requirements into clear, practical solutions
Author functional specifications and high-level design documentation
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
Work closely with Project Management to ensure delivery against scope, budget, schedule, and quality
Train and mentor junior engineers (Senior & Principal levels)
Support system deployments, including occasional hands-on hardware activities
Travel primarily within New York and New England, with limited additional US or international travel
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
5+ years experience in IT / ICS / OT engineering
Proven experience designing, building, and deploying networked infrastructure in stakeholder-facing roles
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Experience leading technical infrastructure projects
Hands-on experience with several of the following: Network infrastructure: routers, switches, firewalls, access points
Operating systems: Windows, Linux, Unix
Virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V
Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
Databases: SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL
Cybersecurity: firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM
Industrial systems: DCS, PLCs, HMIs
Industrial protocols: Modbus, Profinet, EtherNet/IP
Preferred
