Responsibilities

Review requirements and specifications to understand the scope and objectives of testing
Create, maintain, and execute clear and comprehensive test cases and test plans
Identify, document, and track defects, and communicate issues clearly to developers and stakeholders
Perform regression, functional, smoke, UAT, cross-browser, and boundary testing as needed
Validate APIs using tools like Postman, verifying status codes and response bodies
Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues, remove blockers, and ensure timely resolution
Track testing progress and results using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
Continuously improve QA processes and contribute to team knowledge sharing

Required

Proven experience in manual QA testing, with a strong understanding of the end-to-end QA process
Demonstrated ability to identify, reproduce, and document bugs with strong examples from experience
Ability to write clear test cases, test plans, and acceptance criteria and explain them effectively
Basic SQL knowledge for data validation
Familiarity with API testing fundamentals using Postman or similar tools
Knowledge of common testing types: functional, regression, smoke, UAT, cross-browser, and boundary testing
Experience collaborating with developers, reporting blockers, and tracking work in Jira or Azure DevOps
Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and problem-solving mindset
