Responsibilities
Collaborates with cross-functional business units and IT development teams to gather and translate requirements into functional system specifications
Assesses new applications and emerging technologies to determine feasibility, technical fit, and integration requirements
Analyzes evolving business needs and current system gaps, recommending viable system enhancements, process improvements, and alternative technology solutions
Defines detailed systems requirements, works with technical teams to validate solution designs, and supports development and testing activities
Prepares clear documentation, reports, and communication materials to support proposed system changes and enhancements
Delivers presentations and conducts stakeholder briefings to communicate solution recommendations, implementation plans, and expected business impacts
Works closely under the direction and guidance of a Project Manager, supporting project planning, timelines, and coordination tasks
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
3–5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or related IT/business roles
Strong understanding of system development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile)
Experience translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications
Ability to analyze complex business processes, identify gaps, and propose technology-driven solutions
Proficiency with requirements gathering tools and documentation frameworks (e.g., user stories, BRDs, FRDs, process flows)
Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation
Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Preferred
Experience working with enterprise systems, ERP platforms, or SaaS-based business applications
Familiarity with prototyping, wireframing, or visualization tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Figma, Balsamiq)
Hands-on experience with data analysis, reporting tools, or basic SQL queries
Exposure to testing practices such as UAT, QA coordination, test case creation, and defect tracking
Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, ECBA, PMI-PBA, or Agile/Scrum are a plus
Experience working in industries with structured compliance requirements (e.g., Finance, Healthcare, Public Sector) is advantageous
