Energy Analytics Program Manager

Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) team is responsible for the lifecycle of Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure. The Energy Analytics Program Manager will develop business analytics and actionable insights to operate and scale Microsoft’s corporate energy portfolio while collaborating with cross-functional teams to inform strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive analyses to address business challenges, accurately interpret findings within their context, and provide actionable recommendations
Works within and across teams to deepen expertise in data sources, methodologies, analytical tools and processes, and business and client needs, to facilitate relevant insight generation, reporting, and interpretation
Gathers analyses, reports, and process knowledge to create synthesized set of plans related to operations as directed by senior leadership
Identifies appropriate types of data and/or metrics to address specific business needs
Adheres to data privacy and security requirements, responsible and ethical data handling and AI practices, and classification and governance rules and regulations
Work closely with data scientists, program managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver analyses that meet business needs

Required

Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles OR Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 2+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles OR equivalent experience
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role

Preferred

Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 3+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles OR Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 5+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles OR equivalent experience
