This role is essential in ensuring that every product meets FOCO's safety, compliance, and performance standards before shipment.

Responsibilities
Support pre-shipment inspections and in-line quality checks
Review test reports, factory submissions, and inspection documents for accuracy
Maintain QA/QC logs, trackers, and documentation in digital systems
Assist with rework coordination and issue resolution when defects arise
Help manage documentation for supplier compliance (SEDEX, FLA, FLMA, NCAA, Disney, Walmart, Amazon, etc.)
Support audits and compliance requirements with internal teams and vendors
Communicate directly with suppliers on submission needs and expectations
Assist in creating and maintaining product specifications and packaging confirmations
Ensure all products comply with general product safety regulations and retailer standards
Collaborate with product teams on early risk assessment reviews
Coordinate with FOCO’s global offices, including China-based QA teams, to monitor sample statuses, testing, and inspection progress
Liaise with sourcing, design, and production teams to close quality loops
Provide technical documentation support to suppliers
Track customer complaints and assist with identifying trends
Contribute to monthly QA scorecards and internal reports
Complete training in QA systems, product safety, and compliance
Participate in online learning modules to build industry-specific knowledge
Up to 30-35% travel to Asia (China) for factory visits, audits, and inspections as required
Qualification
Required
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and follow-up abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with QA systems a plus
A collaborative, curious mindset and willingness to learn
Preferred
Previous QA/QC or product compliance experience is a bonus, but not required
