Responsibilities
Represent and advise contractors, design professionals, developers, and other project participants in complex construction disputes involving defect claims, tort allegations, contractual disputes, and related construction litigation matters
Take and defend fact and expert depositions and assist in developing deposition strategy
Draft, argue, and respond to dispositive and non-dispositive motions, including motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment
Participate in site inspections, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials, with increasing responsibility based on experience
Conduct detailed legal research and provide strategic analysis of case law, statutes, and procedural issues
Prepare pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and substantive correspondence throughout all stages of litigation
Communicate directly with clients, expert witnesses, consultants, and opposing counsel regarding case strategy, discovery, and dispute resolution
Qualification
Required
Admitted to Practice in Florida, and in good standing
J.D. from an accredited School of Law
3+ Yrs experience within Construction Litigation
Strong legal writing, analytical skills, and attention to detail
