Responsibilities

Developing their own clients base from various market segments, including corporate, group, and leisure
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Sending RFPs, negotiating terms and contracts, and representing HelmsBriscoe at industry events to promote our brand and services
Facilitating site-selection searches and contract negotiations

Required

Five years of experience in group sales for a hotel, CVB or other related meeting industry role
Strong track record of successful new client development and/or convention management and execution
Strong salesmanship, prospecting, and planning abilities
Basic skills in Microsoft Office
Proven experience in a sales or meeting planning role within the hotel or hospitality industry
Strong understanding of hotel sales processes and market segmentation
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field
Existing network of corporate or MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) clients
