50% Research, 35% AI/ML, Cloud and Open Plugin Updates, 15% mentoring student researchers
Qualification
Required
Doctoral degree (PhD) or equivalent in: Artificial Intelligence, Information Science, Data Science, Environmental Science, Engineering, or Policy, Management, or Computer Science
Experienced artificial intelligence and machine learning researcher with knowledge of R, Python, and cloud services, foundation models, LLMs, and agentic AI systems
Preferred
Understanding of human-centered-design of sociotechnical systems
Strong interest in sustainability
Knowledge of supply-chain verification and traceability
Distributed system and decentralized blockchain application as well as open-source development experience helpful
