Jackson James is a growing D2C brand in the fashion accessories space, looking for an eCommerce Manager to lead their digital strategy. The role involves managing a Shopify Plus storefront, driving revenue growth through data-led decision making, and optimizing user experience.

Responsibilities
Own day-to-day management and optimization of a Shopify Plus website, including product setup, integrations, and checkout experience
Drive core performance metrics such as conversion rate, average order value, retention, and overall revenue
Build and manage a forward-looking e-commerce roadmap, identifying platform enhancements, tools, and new functionality
Partner with marketing and creative teams to execute site updates tied to campaigns, launches, and promotions
Develop and manage site merchandising strategies across collections, navigation, and homepage layouts
Lead merchandising updates for new products, seasonal moments, and promotional periods
Establish best practices for product naming, tagging, categorization, and on-site discoverability
Collaborate with creative teams to ensure product pages are visually engaging, on-brand, and conversion-focused
Leverage analytics to optimize product placement, upsells, cross-sells, and customer journeys
Work closely with operations teams to align inventory availability with merchandising priorities
Lead ongoing testing initiatives across PDPs, cart, checkout, and on-site flows
Analyze user behavior through analytics, heatmaps, and session recordings to identify friction points
Translate insights into clear recommendations and measurable improvements
Act as the UX owner, ensuring all site changes follow modern e-commerce best practices
Optimize navigation, search, and mobile experiences to reduce drop-off and increase engagement
Partner with design and development resources to deliver clean, performance-driven UI enhancements
Stay current on e-commerce UX trends and competitive benchmarks
Balance CRO insights, merchandising needs, and UX improvements within a unified digital roadmap
Coordinate with marketing, creative, and technical teams to deliver projects on time and at a high standard
Evaluate and implement Shopify Plus apps and third-party tools to support growth
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in e-commerce management, digital merchandising, or UX/UI-focused roles (DTC or retail preferred)
Strong hands-on experience with Shopify Plus and its ecosystem
Demonstrated success driving revenue through merchandising strategy and site optimization
Solid CRO experience, including A/B testing and funnel analysis
Deep understanding of e-commerce UX/UI best practices
Comfortable working with analytics and experimentation tools (e.g., GA4, heatmaps, testing platforms)
Highly collaborative with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Preferred
Bonus: Basic HTML/CSS knowledge and experience working in agile environments
