Supply Chain Manager

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing holding costs and avoiding shortages or overstock
Leverage ERP systems to enhance supply chain planning, data analysis, and reporting; ensure accuracy of inventory and procurement data within the system
Develop and manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality materials
Collaborate with production teams to create and maintain efficient production schedules that align with business goals and customer demands
Oversee inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods, while optimizing transportation costs
Partner with finance, sales, operations, and other teams to align supply chain strategies with organizational objectives
Track supply chain metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Anticipate and address potential supply chain disruptions, ensuring contingency plans are in place
Identify opportunities to streamline supply chain processes and implement best practices to drive operational excellence

Required

Proven experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment
Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and inventory management tools
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively across departments
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (preferred)
This position requires access or potential access to Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information, which is Not Releasable to Foreign Nationals (NOFORN) data. Therefore, to meet NOFORN requirement, you will have to provide proof of US Citizenship and attest that you do not have dual citizenship.
