Responsibilities
Build and ship functionality that supports critical integrity decisions for remote engineering infrastructure
Take ownership of key features and systems end-to-end, from implementation through production release
Contribute to a high-quality, scalable codebase by writing clean, maintainable code and improving existing systems
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to help raise engineering standards
Work closely with product and engineering to turn customer needs into well-scoped technical solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teammates (product, design, engineering) to deliver reliable, user-friendly software
Support and mentor other developers through pairing, reviews, and guidance as needed
Qualification
Required
3+ years of professional software development experience
Strong experience with JavaScript and familiarity with TypeScript (or equivalent experience building production web systems in another language such as Go, C#, Java, etc.)
Experience building modern web applications and/or backend services
Experience designing, building, and integrating high-quality APIs
Understanding of scalable and maintainable application design principles
Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) and/or SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB)
Experience with cloud-based applications (Azure or AWS)
Preferred
Exposure to CI/CD workflows and release processes
Familiarity with observability and quality tools (e.g., Sentry, New Relic, PostHog)
Understanding of software security principles and practices
Experience working with AI/ML technologies
