Responsibilities

Oversee our USCENTCOM/USEUCOM/USAFRICOM Force Employment Flight
Provides the full spectrum of mission oversight, administrative leadership, and human resources responsibilities for a team of around 10 civilians, military, and contractor personnel
Providing advice and counsel to civilian, military, and contract employees regarding policies, procedures, and higher headquarters guidance
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to advocate for and defend NSIC’s mission
Selects or recommends selection of candidates for vacancies, promotions, details, reassignment in consideration of skills, qualifications, and mission requirements
Conducts performance management for employees within the flight
Lead a broad range of space and counterspace analysis entailing unique problems, creativity, innovative use of techniques, advance approaches, and new technology

Required

Must be a U.S Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance. Requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform duties and responsibilities of the position. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed
This position has been designated for drug testing. Incumbent is subject to random urinalysis testing as a condition of employment
The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments
Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY)
PCS is authorized. Incentive is not authorized

Preferred

Knowledge of the principles, concepts and methodology of intelligence processes, techniques, sources and reporting mechanisms required for the production of intelligence assessments
Knowledge of foreign space and counterspace systems, concepts and capabilities
Knowledge of supervisory, safety, security, and budgetary regulations, practices, and procedures
Broad knowledge of agency, AF, DoW and national-level doctrine, regulations, policies, guidelines, requirements, and initiatives related to assigned program(s) and/or project(s)
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective relationships, negotiating complex issues, and resolving conflicts based on mature judgement, experience, and recognized professional standing
Ability to utilize analytical and problem-solving techniques to accomplish goals and direct staff of a small to medium sized organization
