Director of Business Intelligence and Strategy
The University of Southern California (USC) is seeking a Director of Business Intelligence and Strategy to join the Dornsife Advancement team. This role focuses on driving the creation of sustainable systems and data-informed solutions to support the university's mission, including overseeing data analytics, information strategy, and prospect development programs.

Responsibilities
Design, develop and lead a comprehensive data analytics, information strategy, and prospect development program for the College
Serve as an executive advisor to the CDO on prospect strategy
Manage all data, systems, and reports related to stage, pipeline, and forecast reports for principal and major gifts, annual fund, corporate and foundation relations, etc
Identify, evaluate and implement new tools, systems, and data visualization solutions to derive actionable insights
Lead campaign prospect development, including the creation and execution of a data-driven portfolio management strategy
Operationalize diversity, equity, and inclusion methods in prospect development and pipeline identification efforts
Facilitate cross-functional collaborations to identify continuous process improvement areas and develop procedures that support workflow, efficiency and productivity
Recruit, train, and mentor a team focused on data management, information strategy, prospect development, strategic planning and solution delivery
Stay current on trends in prospect development and data analytics in collaboration with other schools, units, and external professional associations
Provide leadership and build roadmaps for strategic planning, execution, and solution delivery for external-facing programs, projects and strategic initiatives
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. The University reserves the right to add or change duties at any time
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
3 years of directly related professional and supervisory experience in area of program specialization
Design, develop and lead a comprehensive data analytics, information strategy, and prospect development program for the College
Serve as an executive advisor to the CDO on prospect strategy
