Responsibilities
Greet customers promptly and professionally, creating a welcoming and helpful shopping experience
Actively seek out customers to assess needs, recommend products, and provide complete project solutions
Learn and maintain product knowledge using company tools, training programs, and hands-on experience
Guide customers through the sales process by qualifying needs, recommending solutions, and closing sales
Support basic customer needs in adjacent departments when required
Maintain in-stock conditions, proper pricing, signage, and overall cleanliness of assigned areas
Ensure all departments are safe, organized, shop-able, and visually appealing
Follow all safety policies and standards, complete required safety training, and immediately address or report hazards
Work safely to protect customers, co-workers, vendors, and personal well-being
Collaborate with Department Supervisors and team members across departments to meet store goals
Provide support across various store departments as needed
Qualification
Required
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to learn product information and apply it to customer needs
Sales-focused mindset with attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to lift, move, and handle merchandise as required
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
