Akkodis is seeking a Java - Full Stack Sr. Developer for a Contract with a client in Culver City, CA. This role focuses on developing scalable full‑stack Java applications and modernizing enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and enhance scalable Java‑based applications using Spring Boot, JEE, Hibernate, and modern architectural patterns
Build and maintain RESTful services, integrate with legacy systems, and support both relational (Oracle PL/SQL) and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or MarkLogic
Develop interactive front‑end components using Angular 2+, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 to deliver responsive user experiences
Modernize and extend existing enterprise applications by implementing enhancements, resolving defects, and ensuring smooth deployment across environments
Utilize messaging systems (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka), CI/CD tools, Git/Maven, and Docker containers to support efficient development and deployment workflows
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure scalable design, maintain application performance, and contribute to cloud‑ready solutions leveraging AWS services

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline

Strong hands‑on expertise with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, REST API development, and integration with both relational (Oracle) and NoSQL databases
Proven experience with Angular/TypeScript front‑end development, containerization using Docker, and cloud‑based application development with AWS knowledge
