Responsibilities
Support daily deposit operations activities across ACH, checks, wires, and internal transaction channels
Review and validate transaction accuracy through routine reconciliation and quality control measures
Monitor exceptions, discrepancies, and unusual items, ensuring corrective action is taken promptly
Ensure all processing follows regulatory requirements including NACHA rules, funds availability regulations, and internal policies
Identify and escalate potential risks, fraud indicators, or irregular account activity
Maintain strict adherence to confidentiality, audit standards, and dual-control procedures
Conduct research to resolve customer and internal inquiries with clarity and accuracy
Partner with Retail, Lending, Digital Banking, and other teams to resolve operational issues
Provide guidance to frontline employees regarding deposit processes and system functionality
Prepare and maintain operational reports used for reconciliation, exception tracking, and compliance review
Ensure all documentation, logs, and records meet retention and compliance standards
Assist during audits and internal reviews as needed
Collaborate with departmental leadership to improve workflows and enhance efficiency
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and strengthen internal controls
Participate in training, system enhancements, and operational improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Sound judgement in handling sensitive information and risk-based decisions
Preferred
Experience in banking, deposit operations, payments, or financial services is preferred
Familiarity with ACH, wire transfers, check processing, or regulatory guidelines is beneficial
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
