Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy refactored applications updated to use Entra ID
Maintain legacy applications (JAVA and ColdFusion) that may require slight modifications
Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures using a number of database technologies
Help identify opportunities for automation of application conversions to Entra ID utilizing AI assisted code refactoring
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and standards
Write clear, maintainable, and reusable code
Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in AI assisted and automated development techniques
Qualification
Required
Proven experience (5+ years) developing applications using a variety of languages (JAVA required)
Experience working with Entra ID for authentication and authorization
Strong knowledge database design, query optimization, and stored procedures
Hands-on experience with agile application deployment processes
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, and integration techniques
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns
Experience with SDLC and source control tools such as Git
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Typically requires 5-8 years experience
Preferred
Experience with JAVA and other programming frameworks
Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular or React
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) for application deployment
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools
