Senior LevelOneAPPS Consulting is a Technology consulting firm based out of New York, and they are seeking an experienced Senior High Performance Computing (HPC) Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and operation of large-scale HPC environments. This role involves managing complex systems to support advanced research and artificial intelligence workloads while providing technical leadership and mentorship.

Responsibilities
Manage and maintain large-scale HPC clusters, including OS upgrades, firmware updates, and performance tuning
Oversee HPC networking, security, and infrastructure components
Design and deploy specialized HPC computing environments and scalable storage systems
Partner with internal teams to deliver service-based HPC solutions
Serve as a technical leader and advisor across multiple initiatives
Lead enterprise-level HPC projects using standard project management practices
Mentor junior engineers and establish operational best practices
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience with High Performance Computing (HPC) environments
Advanced Linux system administration
Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols
Experience with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
Familiarity with AI workload management tools (e.g., Run:ai)
Proficiency with Slurm workload manager
Experience with NVIDIA DGX systems
Knowledge of virtualization technologies
Experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platforms
Familiarity with high-performance storage solutions, including DDN and NAS
