Responsibilities
Develops and maintains visibility to known project work leveraging documented tools, processes and procedures in appropriate Standard Operating Procedures, Playbooks and Runbooks
Develops and maintains productive working relationships with business leaders, project sponsors, business analysts, solution architects, vendors, and key clients
Manages the relationship with the customer, acting as the primary “face” of the project throughout the lifecycle
Provides work direction and leadership to assigned projects, including scheduling, assignment of work, and review of project efforts
Ensures successful go-live on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction
Maintains consistent communication with the project team to ensure the scope of work is clear and that standard operating procedures are adhered to and auditable
Ensures compliance with all accounting, human resources, training, and safety goals, as outlined by the Statement of Work and other C5MI policies
Provides customer guidance and support on Communications, Change Management, Training Strategy, and Testing Strategy
Facilitates the gathering of information required to estimate project cost, resources, time, and deliverables
Leverages financial acumen to estimate costs associated with the project, including physical, financial, and human capital costs
Creates and manages capital appropriate requests and revisions and develops a detailed cost baseline from cost estimations
Negotiates conflicts and resolves issues that arise on the project, acting as a mediator between stakeholders and team members throughout the project lifecycle
Acts as a trusted advisor for the client
Keeps senior leaders and stakeholders informed on the progress of the project, as well as any risks or deviations from the plan
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship required to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
PMP Certification
Ability to travel up to 75%
5+ years SAP Technology implementation and/or operation experience
5+ years SAP consultant or development experience (SAP Project Manager or Operation Manager experience preferred)
Experience with at least one full cycle implementation
Must be a self-starter and problem solver, capable of functioning in a dynamic, fast-paced, change-oriented environment
Must be able to lead large cross functional teams and understand how to lead within a matrixed organization to deliver results
Excellent customer/escalation management skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize deliverables
Strong organizational and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail
Collaborative team player with the ability to connect and work with employees at all levels
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Understanding of SAP Activate methodology is a plus
A project management certification is a plus
Proficiency with MS Project or other project management tools
