Responsibilities
Employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions (H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, EB-1, EB-2, PERM)
Case strategy, eligibility analysis, and issue-spotting for complex fact patterns
Drafting original petitions, legal arguments, and detailed responses to RFEs and NOIDs, with an emphasis on persuasive writing and issue framing
Direct interaction with corporate clients and foreign nationals
Demonstrated comfort operating without rigid templates or escalation layers
Collaboration on workflow, quality control, and best practices across matters
Manage matters end-to-end with support and mentorship, not micromanagement
Qualification
Required
JD and active New York Bar admission (or imminent admission)
3–7+ years of employment-based immigration experience
Strong writing skills and comfort level in handling substantive legal analysis
Ability to work in-office in NYC and collaborate closely with partners
Preferred
Experience in a law firm or boutique immigration practice
