Inventory Management Specialis

Responsibilities
Coordinates with property managers for disposal of surplus or excess supplies
Administers an expendable inventory management program
Performs analytical work to manage, regulate, coordinate and exercise control over expendable supplies
Advises and informs stakeholders concerning the management, control and accountability of expendable items in use
Search for and research information
Researches and develops solutions to complex and routine problems
Ability to use bar code scanning equipment and appropriate tagging equipment for inventory control purposes

For the GS-7: You may qualify based on your experience and/or education as described below: Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-05 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization
For the GS-9: You may qualify based on your experience and/or education as described below: Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-07 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization
A current, valid state-issued Driver's License is required for this position
