Responsibilities
Coordinate the installation of Government contract voice/data/wireless to include associated equipment
Network support services, provide technical expertise and guidance, including SELC support, testing and development of wireless hardware and software. Documentation creation, training, wireless site surveys, evaluation, project support and decommissioning all to meet the operation requirements with detailed documentation compliant with agency standards. The scope of work includes on-site and remote support for all installations for a Federal Government agency
Provide engineering support to plan, design, implementation and post-deployment activities related to the network. Develop and maintain standard operation procedures (SOPs) and training materials for systems with clear and concise documentation to align with agency standards
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, to address complex issues to resolve system challenges
Conduct site surveys and perform predictive design and modeling to optimize network
Track and report project progress, risk, and issues to the team and agency stakeholders
Provide team leadership support to other members of the team
Out of hours support is a requirement, occasional travel may be required, or other duties as assigned
This position supports Government Customer facility in Atlanta, GA and other remote sites
Employee must be willing and able to obtain a government issued Public Trust
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 days per week office presence at customer's site
Experience in coordinating the installation of Government contract voice/data/wireless including associated equipment
Technical expertise and guidance in network support services, including SELC support, testing and development of wireless hardware and software
Ability to create documentation, training, and conduct wireless site surveys
Experience in project support and decommissioning to meet operational requirements with detailed documentation compliant with agency standards
Engineering support experience in planning, designing, implementing, and post-deployment activities related to the network
Ability to develop and maintain standard operation procedures (SOPs) and training materials with clear and concise documentation
Collaboration skills to work with internal teams and vendors to address complex issues
Experience in conducting site surveys and performing predictive design and modeling to optimize the network
Ability to track and report project progress, risk, and issues to the team and agency stakeholders
Experience in providing team leadership support to other members of the team
Willingness to provide out of hours support and occasional travel
Ability to obtain a government issued Public Trust clearance
