Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the full-cycle payroll process for hourly and salaried employees
Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and timely processing in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations
Administer payroll for union and non-union employees, including contract interpretation and compliance
Utilize ERP/payroll systems such as Workday, Oracle, UKG Pro, or ADP
Resolve complex payroll issues, discrepancies, and employee inquiries
Partner with HR and Finance on payroll-related projects, reporting, and system enhancements
Lead, train, and mentor payroll staff; support process improvements and best practices
Maintain confidentiality and ensure data integrity at all times
Qualification
Required
5+ years of payroll experience, including supervisory or lead-level responsibilities
Hands-on experience with ERP/payroll systems (Workday, Oracle, UKG Pro, ADP)
Union payroll experience required
Bilingual in Spanish (required)
Strong knowledge of payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, and compliance requirements
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
CPP or FPC certification
Experience supporting payroll system implementations or upgrades
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization
