Director of Operations
The client is seeking a Director of Operations to lead, scale, and optimize core operational functions that enable sustainable growth and efficiency. This role involves translating business strategy into operational reality while partnering with various teams to drive operational rigor and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
Own and evolve the company’s operational strategy to support short- and long-term business objectives
Design, implement, and optimize operational processes across departments to improve efficiency, scalability, and consistency
Partner with executive leadership to translate strategic initiatives into executable plans, milestones, and KPIs
Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve planning, forecasting, execution cadence, and accountability
Establish operational metrics, dashboards, and reporting to provide visibility into performance and risks
Oversee day-to-day operational execution, ensuring alignment across teams and timely delivery of priorities
Identify operational bottlenecks and risks, proactively driving solutions and process improvements
Support organizational scaling efforts, including headcount planning, tooling, vendor management, and workflow optimization
Drive operational excellence through documentation, standard operating procedures, and governance frameworks
Mentor and develop operations team members, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Proven experience building and scaling operational frameworks in high-growth organizations
Strong understanding of business operations, process design, and organizational effectiveness
Exceptional project and program management skills with the ability to drive execution across teams
Data-driven mindset with experience defining KPIs, dashboards, and performance management systems
Strong financial and operational acumen, including forecasting, budgeting support, and resource planning
Ability to influence without authority and align diverse stakeholders around shared goals
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to executive and non-technical audiences
High degree of ownership, adaptability, and comfort operating in ambiguous environments
Preferred
8–12+ years of experience in Operations, Business Operations, Strategy & Operations, or similar roles
Experience in technology, SaaS, or product-driven organizations
Prior experience partnering directly with executive leadership or serving as an operational right hand
Exposure to change management, organizational design, or post-scale transformation initiatives
Experience leading or building operations teams in distributed or remote environments
