Responsibilities
Lead and supervise hourly production teams to meet daily output, quality, and efficiency targets
Enforce safety standards and promote a culture of accident prevention and accountability
Monitor production performance and make real-time adjustments to staffing, workflow, or equipment setup
Train, coach, and develop employees through regular feedback and performance reviews
Manage attendance, timekeeping approvals, and scheduling in alignment with operational needs
Address performance issues and administer corrective actions in accordance with company policy
Collaborate with plant leadership to control labor costs and reduce waste
Ensure equipment is operated safely and assist on the production floor when needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
Prepare and review basic production reports to identify trends and improvement opportunities
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
3+ years of experience leading or supervising production teams
Background working with complex or industrial equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort in hands-on environments
Experience in high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing operations
Working knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety standards
Proficiency with basic computer applications (timekeeping, reporting, Microsoft Office)
Strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example
Detail-oriented, dependable, and proactive leadership style
