Responsibilities
Test wastewater impurities, in-process, and final products for Personal Care and Active Pharmaceutical ingredients
Prioritizes tasks and adapting to changing priorities
Performs minor repairs and maintenance on lab equipment and performs sample and process calculations as required
Troubleshoots minor method issues
Conducts routine laboratory tests following established procedures
Prepares chemical reagents and standard solutions
Provides training to other technicians as needed
Assists with Microbiology data reviews
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in chemistry or equivalent in a science discipline
Embraces new initiatives, driving successful implementation in his/her area
Adapts thinking and behavior to support change
Takes personal responsibility for promoting change in his/her area
Understands how to effectively engage others in the change processes
Demonstrates a strong understanding of GMP regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Flexible in prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing priorities
Available for 12-hour shifts, including overnight, weekends, and overtime
Preferred
Bachelor of Science degree
1-4 years of analytical industry lab experience
1-4 years of experience working in a chemical plant operation
