This role blends hands-on architecture with strong communication and storytelling, partnering closely with engineers, product teams, and leadership.

Responsibilities
Architect cloud-native, API-first solutions across digital portals, web interfaces, and data platforms
Design and document solution architectures , diagrams, and technical roadmaps aligned with enterprise standards
Lead architectural design for APIs, microservices, event-driven systems , and large-scale data environments
Collaborate with Product Owners, Agile teams, and engineers to deliver high-impact digital features
Provide architectural guidance on React-based portals , Node.js services, and Azure data pipelines
Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, reusable solutions
Communicate complex ideas clearly— explaining the “why” behind architectural decisions to technical and non-technical audiences
Coach and mentor engineers and emerging architects; contribute to communities of practice
Qualification
Required
5+ years in solution or application architecture
3+ years designing solutions on Azure
Strong experience with APIs, microservices, and modern web architectures
Hands-on background with React, Node.js, and cloud-native development
Experience translating technical concepts for business stakeholders
Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong communicator and storyteller who can present architecture clearly
Preferred
Azure Solutions Architect certification (AZ-305 or equivalent)
TOGAF / ArchiMate experience
Financial services background (commercial lending or leasing a plus)
Familiarity with secure coding, CI/CD, monitoring, and observability
