Responsibilities
Lead a high-performing team of engineers and designers to bring new product ideas to life and optimize existing solutions
Manage the full engineering lifecycle — from planning and design to testing, documentation, and launch
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure technical solutions align with customer needs and business goals
Act as a technical authority, solving complex design challenges and delivering timely, cost-effective results
Champion innovation by improving processes, accelerating time-to-market, and enhancing engineering productivity
Drive collaboration across departments and empower your team through mentorship, performance management, and leadership
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
12+ years of experience in product design and development
6+ years of direct engineering team leadership
Strong background in metal materials, fabrication, and finishing
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and communicate effectively with internal teams and customers
U.S. Export Control compliant
Expert-level engineering principles and problem-solving skills
High proficiency in CAD/CAE, MS Office, and drawing standards (GD&T)
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Experience with proposal writing, budgeting, and team development
Passion for continuous improvement and driving innovation
Preferred
Advanced degree in mechanical engineering
SolidWorks proficiency
