Responsibilities
Monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance using AIOps, event correlation, and observability tools
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in real time as part of a 24/7 war-room operations support team
Perform traffic pattern analysis using flow-based tools and identify potential performance or security concerns
Work with alerting, logging, and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Graphite, Prometheus, and Syslog
Participate in code and design reviews, contributing automation and scripting solutions to improve reliability
Support CI/CD pipelines and contribute to DevOps processes by using tools such as Git, Jenkins, Ansible, etc
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance visibility, reliability, and scalability of network infrastructure
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with network data, including network protocols, Syslog, VPN, wireless (WAP), and other log types
Expertise in network operations, site reliability engineering, and event correlation
Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Splunk, Prometheus, Graphite, etc.)
Proven ability to analyze traffic patterns across multiple dimensions using flow-based tools
Scripting experience using Python or similar languages for automation tasks
Proficiency with Linux/Unix environments
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Ansible)
Experience supporting 24/7 operational environments and managing high-impact incidents with senior leadership involvement
