Responsibilities
Lead rigorous upfront ROI quantification & stop/go decisionings : Turn ambiguous problems into clear economic models; quantify current-state costs and define go/redesign/stop gates.No execution without proven economics. Ensure ROI is validated •before• sales commitments or delivery kickoff
Optimize processes & eliminate waste: Deconstruct workflows, identify non-value-added steps, andprevent automation of broken processes using Six Sigma, Lean, or similar frameworks
Model effort, capacity & scale: Build realistic bottom-up cost and effort models; stress-test assumptions and tie estimates to ROI thresholds
Lead ROI-focused discovery: Challenge solution-first thinking; clarify problem ownership, success metrics, and failure modes upfront
Project-approved ROI monitoring: Ensure initiatives stay aligned with projected ROI during execution through KPIs, checkpoints, and dashboards
Set standards & enforce adoption: Institutionalize digital transformation, AI, and SaaS process standards; ensure clean handovers and sustained value realization
Guide AI & automation decisions: Advise where AI or agents deliver true economic lift; prevent over-engineering and unnecessary complexity
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related quantitative field
8+ years of experience driving ROI-focused decisions for digital transformation, SaaS, AI, or enterprise software initiatives
Proven track record in upfront ROI quantification, cost-benefit analysis, and go/redesign/stop decision-making for high-impact tech projects
Expertise in process optimization and waste elimination using Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent frameworks
Experience building bottom-up effort, capacity, and cost models tied to ROI thresholds; ability to stress-test assumptions
Hands-on experience advising on AI, automation, or SaaS solutions with a focus on measurable economic impact
Strong analytical skills: financial modeling, scenario analysis, and risk assessment in complex enterprise environments
Skilled at defining KPIs, dashboards, and monitoring frameworks to ensure initiatives deliver projected ROI
Strategic thinker with the confidence to challenge assumptions, stop unprofitable projects, and influence senior stakeholders
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to align business, product, and engineering teams around data-driven decisions
Preferred
Advanced certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt, CFA)
Hands-on experience advising on AI, automation, or SaaS solutions with a focus on measurable economic impact
