CPU Architecture and Performance Engineer

They are seeking a CPU Architecture and Performance Engineer to contribute to the development of custom silicon solutions and improve processor instruction set architecture, while collaborating with teams to analyze performance and support CPU subsystem integration.

Responsibilities
Conduct performance correlation between the performance model and RTL implementation, including micro-benchmark development and pre-silicon and post-silicon performance bug triage
Develop a performance model for performance analysis and microarchitecture design study
Work with executive CPU architects to evaluate CPU features from both architecture and performance angles
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
1 year of experience in high-performance microprocessor architecture, microarchitecture, performance, and design
Experience in performance modeling, analysis, correlation, and workload characterization, with experience in C/C++ and scripting languages, e.g. Python
Preferred
Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, with an emphasis on computer architecture
Experience with CPU/ML performance model development, performance analysis, performance correlation, and workload characterization
Experience with processor instruction set architecture (e.g., ARM, RISC-V, x86)
Knowledge of system software components, such as Linux, drivers, and runtime
Knowledge of high-performance CPU/ML architecture and microarchitecture
