3+ years expTexo Systems LLC is seeking an experienced Field Technician specializing in electronic security systems. This role involves installing, programming, servicing, and troubleshooting commercial and residential security systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Security & Investigations
Responsibilities
Install, program, and service security systems including:
Intrusion alarms; DSC, Honeywell/Bosch
CCTV / IP cameras ; Panasonic, Axis, Hanwha, Eagle Eye, Digital Watch Dog
Access control systems; DSX, Brivo, DNA Fusion, Monitor Cast
Video management systems; Hanwha Wave, Video Insight, Milestone, Eagle Eye
Run, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling (CAT5e/CAT6, coax, composite)
Configure network-connected devices (IP cameras, NVRs, access controllers)
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system schematics
Perform system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs
Ensure installations meet code, manufacturer, and company standards
Maintain job site safety and cleanliness
Communicate effectively with project managers, customers, and other technicians
Accurately document work performed, materials used, and system configurations
Mentor junior technicians as needed
Safely operate company vehicles, lifts, and tools
Proficient in use of laptop, and use of programs like Excel, Outlook, Bluebeam, Procore
Qualification
Required
OSHA 10 Certification (required)
3–5+ years of experience installing and servicing security systems
Strong experience with low-voltage cabling and termination
Working knowledge of IP networking (LANs, PoE, switches, routers)
Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass background check (required for security work)
Preferred
OSHA 30 preferred
Manufacturer certifications (e.g., Honeywell, DSC, Alarm.com, Brivo, Axis, Hanwha, Ubiquiti)
Experience with commercial access control platforms
Lift certification or experience working at heights
