Program Manager
Jeppesen ForeFlight is seeking a customer-facing Program Manager who will report to the Senior Manager of Implementation. The role involves managing multiple customer software implementation projects and programs across the Americas through effective planning, scheduling, and mentoring of Project Managers.

Responsibilities
Applies program management and customer guidance experience while learning and adapting to Jeppesen’s best practices framework to deliver project goals
Schedule Management: Ensures feasibility of program schedules by identifying and monitoring overall project timeline, project milestones, deliverables, customer requirements, task dependencies, and critical paths
Cross Functional Leadership: Provides leadership, direction, and integrates activities with other departments, vendors, and partners to ensure successful implementation and support. Provides facilitation, roll out, and continuous improvement of Program Manager best practices and mentoring of Project Managers
Issue / Risk Management: Anticipates and identifies risks and issues that may impact implementation and develops and implements mitigation and corrective actions
Scope: Ensures projects remain focused on key objectives and goals. Develops and manages expectations ensuring all applicable functional areas are engaged on the project
Communication Management: Uses a variety of media to clearly convey information and ideas to internal and external stakeholders in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message
Change Management: Ensures proper change management procedures are followed so that scope is managed and additional work is captured and appropriately billed to the customer
Qualification
Required
7+ years experience managing complex technical software implementation projects to external customers
Strong business acumen
Relationship skills needed to build partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and peers
Ability to travel 20-40% of the time
Fluent in both written and verbal English
Preferred
Aviation industry expertise, ideally in the area of crew management solutions
Experience applying Scrum and Agile principles to improve project delivery
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including MS Project; Primavera experience a plus
Multilingualism is an asset (French, Spanish)
Pilot or aviation enthusiast
