Postdoctoral Fellow - Surgical Oncology
MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow in Surgical Oncology for Pancreas Research. The role focuses on advanced training in research related to surgical oncology diseases, with a goal to educate fellows in the multidisciplinary treatment and surgery for complex disorders.

Responsibilities
Identify steps in publishing surgical educational research
Utilize needs assessment to develop novel surgical education materials
Utilize on-line educational platforms to disseminate educational materials
Participate in active IRB protocols in surgical oncology research
Work closely with and observe HPB fellows/trainees in their research projects
Learn the process of navigating institutional review board applications
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. or M.D. degree in Medicine, Biology, Molecular Biology, or Genetics
Excellent written and verbal communication
Effective judgment and problem solving
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Solid foundation in genetically engineered animal models, microscopy and biochemistry
Expertise in Excel and other bioinformatics analysis software
Strong attention to detail
Multi-tasking
Willingness to learn new technologies
