SUPERVISORY ELECTRONICS ENGINEER (INTERDISCIPLINARY)
The Department of the Air Force is seeking a Supervisory Electronics Engineer to serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities
Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations
Performs professional technical/scientific work involved in the application of advanced theories, concepts, principles, and processes

Must have a bachelor's degree in a related discipline such as computer or electronics engineering, computer science, or mathematics
If authorized, PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF Regulations. If receiving an authorized PCS, you may be subject to completing/signing a CONUS agreement
This posn is subject to provisions of the DoD Priority Placement Program
Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft
The work requires the incumbent to be subject to recall during non-duty hours, weekends, and holidays to complete proposals and/or resolve software problems
The work requires the incumbent to be subject to temporary and permanent shift changes

This position has been designated as an acquisition position and is covered by the Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP). The employee must meet, or be capable of meeting Defense Acquisition Work Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification requirements applicable to the career category designated on the position description within 24 months of assignment or secure an approved waiver
The employee must meet 80 hours of continuous learning requirements within the designated timeframe
This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing
Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety
This is a Mission Essential (ME) position performing a Mission Critical Function (MCF) which must continue uninterrupted after the occurrence of an emergency and continued through full resumption of all functions. IAW, DoDI 3020-42, Defense Continuity Programs
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-13, or equivalent in other pay systems
Examples of specialized experience includes experience applying advanced electronic warfare concepts, managing electronic warfare integrated reprogramming, developing data for electronic combat systems, and leading electronic warfare operational test and evaluation
Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-13 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-14 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Knowledge of electronic warfare (EW) concepts, electronic warfare integrated reprogramming (EWIR), and a thorough understanding of hostile EW systems, mission data development for electronic combat systems, and EW operational test and evaluation is required
Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures
Knowledge of policies, programs, organizations, functions, resources, and policies affecting assigned program(s)
Comprehensive understanding of the organizational mission and interfaces with MAJCOM, operational combat units, US intelligence, and support agencies
Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of a small to medium sized organization
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Preferred
A master's degree in a technical related field is highly desired
