Responsibilities

Support weekly payroll processing by ensuring accurate employee data, hours, deductions, and documentation
Maintain payroll records, garnishments, deductions, and payroll-related files in accordance with company policy and law
Coordinate payroll-related changes including new hires, terminations, pay adjustments, and status changes under HR oversight
Assist employees with routine payroll inquiries and escalate issues as appropriate
Support administration of employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability
Assist employees with benefit enrollment, qualifying life events, and general benefit questions
Support annual open enrollment preparation, communications, and data entry
Maintain accurate employee personnel files and HRIS data
Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, COBRA, ACA, EEO, and OSHA
Assist with audits, reporting, and compliance documentation as required
Support onboarding and offboarding processes including new hire documentation and system access
Respond to routine employee inquiries related to HR processes and policies
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR-related matters

Required

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of 2–4 years of HR administrative or coordinator experience
Hands-on experience supporting payroll and benefits administration; weekly payroll experience preferred
Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements
Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
